We roast every week from Monday through Wednesday. While many roasters emphasize ultra-fresh coffee, our beans truly shine after a few days of resting. The sweet spot? Enjoying our coffee within 4 weeks of roasting.

Origin Story

Dukundekawa was sourced from our friends at One Acre Fund, a non-profit working with smallholder farmers since 2007 in a wide range of ag services always with the mission of farmers first. A track record of impact, long-standing relationships with farmers, and farmer requests led to the creation of market access programs in several countries of operation. In coffee in Rwanda that specifically looks like a bundle of 1) quality & productivity boosting - inputs like seedlings, shade trees, lime, etc. 2) working capital 3) market access - this is the first year with all components operational.

This Bourbon variety is grown in the Gakenke region of Rwanda between 1,800 meters above sea level before being processed using the honey method.
