We roast every week from Monday through Wednesday. While many roasters emphasize ultra-fresh coffee, our beans truly shine after a few days of resting. The sweet spot? Enjoying our coffee within 4 weeks of roasting.

Look for the week number on the bottom of the bag taken out of 52 weeks in the year.

Curious about the roast date? Just ask us. We're always happy to help you experience our coffee at its best.

Origin Story

Beyond sourcing organic coffee and building long-standing relationships, we value being invested in our local Spokane community. We're excited to partner with Hooptown USA, the world's largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament hosted right here in Spokane. This coffee was sourced by One Acre Fund, a non-profit working with smallholder farmers since 2007 to provide a wide range of agricultural services with the mission of putting farmers first.

Dukundekawa and Ernest partnered with One Acre Fund due to their track record of impact and long-standing relationships with farmers. In coffee, specifically in Rwanda, that looks like a bundle of 1) quality & productivity boosting - inputs like seedlings, shade trees, lime, etc. 2) working capital 3) market access - this is the first year with all components operational.

plant life

This Bourbon variety is grown in the Gakenke region of Rwanda at 1,800 meters above sea level before being processed using the honey method.
