We roast every week from Monday through Wednesday. While many roasters emphasize ultra-fresh coffee, our beans truly shine after a few days of resting. The sweet spot? Enjoying our coffee within 4 weeks of roasting.

Look for the week number on the bottom of the bag taken out of 52 weeks in the year.

Origin Story

10 years ago, when we began our Limited Release program, a beautiful coffee from Brazil came across our cupping table. It blew our previous notions of lower elevation coffees away. While it was originally intended to be a limited release, Deb kept sneaking boxes of vacuum-sealed magic from Daterra onto pallets and we kept it on as a "secret stash" offering at the roastery. Aaron would roast it once a week, and we'd sell out stupid fast. Since then Sweet Blue has become a core offering in our lineup and we work to maintain our relationship with them.

Since then we've participated in bringing on other offerings from Daterra including the Masterpiece auction lots and this delightful lot they call, Stardust.

Daterra's Stardust is comprised of Catuai and Bourbon varieties grown in the Patrocinio region at 1,150 meters above sea level. It is processed using a natural fermentation method.
