Expect aromatics of malted chocolate brightened with a blackberry acidity that turns into a bright yellow plum mouthfeel. The finish is filled with a black tea body that is accompanied by a sweetness that is reminiscent of an almond roca.
Roast House has been sourcing coffees from Mexico since our founding day in 2010. We love their rich history and dedication to organic coffee production. This will be the first Limited Release Mexico we feature for its complexity and cup clarity. This washed process is sourced from our friends at Red Fox Coffee Merchants and consists of the Typica and Bourbon varieties. Grown at 1,700-2,200 meters above sea level, this coffee is vibrant, sweet, and sessionable. Mixteca uses a traditional washed process that consists of floating cherries to sort for density, depulping the coffee, fermenting without water for 18 to 24 hours, and then washing and drying it on raised beds.
