We combine a women-produced Sumatra with Mexico Triunfo to create a blend full of earthy aromatics with a sweet plum acidity, syrupy mouthfeel, with a lingering finish of sugar cane and concord grape. We built this coffee in community with one of our favorite local restaurants, Italia Trattoria.
Their wonderful regionally inspired Italian restaurant is located in historic Browne’s Addition in Spokane, WA. This organic, fair trade coffee is the perfect accompaniment to Italia's sustainable fresh fish, naturally raised meats, and house-made pastas and desserts. Bethe Bowman, GM/Co-Owner, and Anna Vogel, Chef/Co-Owner, were with Tom Douglas Restaurants in Seattle before moving to Spokane. Their passion for great ingredients drives a menu set with true flavors of aitaly and a unique dining experience. Italia Trattoria's proprietary blend is a true European, heavy bodied, low acidic coffee.
