Guatemala Santa Clara #30


  • Ricardo Zelaya produced two amazing coffees from Santa Clara using different processing methods. To experience the impact processing has on a cup's flavor profile choose in the drop-down menu to purchase two, half-pound bags and taste both!

    After several years without a Guatemala on our menu, we were introduced to Ricardo’s coffee from his farm Santa Clara. It was stunning, crisp and complex -- something we have been looking for. Ricardo Zelaya's team is committed and in love with the gallant beverage they produce and their social and environmental responsibilities. Lot #30 is comprised of the Bourbon variety and processed using the Washed method. Ripe cherries are picked, depulped and allowed to ferment in water before drying to create a cup clarity & sweetness that is out of this world.

    Molasses sweetness rolled in black tea flavors while maintaining a medium body and mouthfeel come through on your first sip. As the cup cools and opens up, juicy red grape & baked peach give the cup a dynamic quality. The finish is sparkling with a gigantic sweetness lingering long after the cup is gone.

CURATED COFFEE SUBSCRIPTIONS: 
When you order a Curated Coffee Subscription from Roast House, you are accepting the coffees selected by our coffee staff. Think of this as a "coffee of the month" club where coffees are selected for you according to the discretion of Roast House.

RETURNS:
Roast House does not accept returns on coffee as it is deemed a food product. All coffee sales are final. Returns of non-coffee merchandise are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact orders@roasthousecoffee.com for return questions.

REFUNDS:
Refunds may be only be issued for Subscription Coffees if the order in question has not yet shipped. Once an order has shipped, the order is considered complete and a refund cannot be issued. You can modify or cancel your subscription at any time using the link provided in your confirmation email.

SHIPPING: 
Orders placed during business hours Monday - Thursday will ship within 24 hours. Orders placed after business hours on Thursday - Sunday will ship on Monday.
