Costa Rica Red Honey Centroamericano

Our annual jar coffee is back and better than ever. As you would expect, this apothecary-style jar holds all the fuel you need. Year 2 working with Aquiares in Costa Rica and the red honey process Centroamericano variety continues to blow our minds. This year we're tasting a massive amount of sweetness from vanilla to brown sugar. The vibrance is reminiscent of a pineapple upside-down cake with a black cherry finish.

Roast House has supported World Coffee Research for over 3 years now, donating an additional fee per pound of green coffee we purchase across the board. This year, that support has paid off with a delightful harvest of the Aquiares estate in Turialba, Costa Rica. The World Coffee Research variety, Centroamericano, was grown 1,300 meters above sea level and processed using the red honey method.
